Walter G. Meyer

Walter G. Meyer is an author and anti-bullying expert whose critically acclaimed novel Rounding Third was based in part on his own high school experiences. Meyer has spoken about bullying at universities, libraries and LGBTQ+ centers and on radio shows across the country. He is active in numerous LGBTQ+ groups. He is also the co-author of The Respectful Leader.

Catherine Mattice

Catherine Mattice is the president of Civility Partners, a consulting, training and coaching firm focused on helping organizations create more positive and respectful workplaces. She is an adjunct professor, and has authored two books, Back Off! Your Kick-Ass Guide to Ending Bullying at Work and Seeking Civility: How Leaders, Managers and HR Can Create a Workplace Free of Bullying. Visit for more information.

Emily Greytak, PhD

Emily Greytak is a national expert on LGBTQ issues in education. She is the research director for GLSEN, the leading education organization focused on LGBTQ issues, and an instructor at Widener University’s Center for Human Sexuality Studies. Her work is regularly cited in the media, and she has authored numerous scholarly and practitioner publications. She has also worked at the University of Pennsylvania’s Office of Health Education and served on the board of SAFER, an organization focused on policy change related to campus sexual violence.
