Alcohol is present in about two thirds of sexual assaults overall, and in 75 percent of those on campus. This course provides an in-depth look at how alcohol can increase the risk of sexual assault, its effect on inhibitions, a breakdown on the potency of alcohol and how it can be used intentionally by predators.

Pearlman, PhD holds specialized experience and knowledge in learning theory, online learning research, and socio-cultural topics such as sexual assault prevention, and alcohol and drug abuse. He’s conceptualized and authored numerous Not Anymore programs and served as a consultant for the U.S. Army’s initiatives to curtail sexual violence.
