Users can upload photos and videos to enhance tip content and utilize two-way chat with campus security officials to gather additional intel. After a tip is submitted, it is routed to the proper official in real-time. In addition, LiveSafe’s Mobile App can be used to report campus concerns that aren’t urgent, such as facility requests.

SafeWalk and SafeDrive help campus members travel throughout and around campus safely by using the LiveSafe Mobile App.

Users are able to connect with anyone of their choosing (friend, family member, classmate), whether they have the mobile application or not, which provides that person the ability to track the user from point to point by sharing their location. It also allows communication between the two.

If there is an emergency while traveling to their destination, users can quickly contact emergency services with the touch of a button. Users also have the ability to only share their location if they don’t reach a destination in time.

3. Broadcast – Notify Campus Members with Valuable Safety Information at a Moment’s Notice

LiveSafe’s Command and Communication Dashboard provides the ability to quickly send a mass notification to your campus community via SMS, email, and push notifications with valuable information. Notifications or messages can be directed to only be sent to certain filtered populations, allowing you to only contact those who need this information. These filters include preassigned groups within the user community (e.g., certain campus administrators or supervisors or managers).

In addition, you can broadcast messages to campus members by using geolocation, so that only those people in that area are notified. For example, if there was information about a road closure at a different campus location, you can draw guidelines around that area, so only those people are notified!

SafeColleges’ Safety on the Go Modules are located within the LiveSafe Mobile App. These modules are short, engaging videos that provide users with strategies and tips on how to be safer on campus regarding:

Campus members can browse through these resources whenever it's most convenient to them as these resources are available both on- and offline. Each module is less than five minutes and provides takeaways, so users can utilize the strategies in real life.
